Tammy Cardillo is known for her tireless
efforts to educate others facing breast cancer.
She is the founder of the Tammy Cardillo
Benefit (TCB) an annual benefit that raises
thousands of dollars for breast cancer research
and has become an educator and
motivational speaker on this devastating
disease.
Tammy herself is a cancer survivor.
At the age of 31, she was diagnosed with breast
cancer. With the support of family and friends,
she underwent numerous surgeries and treatments
to fight the disease. Tammy remained
positive and was declared cancer free in
October of 2003.
She began TCB to share her
experience as well as raise awareness and
educate others. Over the past years we've
raised over a quarter a million dollars to
date with net proceeds contributions to
Dana-Farber/ Brigham and Women's Cancer
Center in Boston.
This year, Friday Oct 19, 2007 was our fifth annual
TCB dinner and silent auction
click for more info. Thanks
to everyone that joined us in "Taking care
of business" in the fight against Breast
Cancer...
